STAAR Testing Information:
- Campus closed to all volunteers & visitors on Tuesday and Wednesday of next week. Please join us for lunch on a different day.
- No after school activities for 4th & 5th graders on Monday or Tuesday afternoons.
- Free breakfast for all students on these days. Please have your child go to class to get their badge before coming to the cafeteria. These days are always super crowded so I encourage you to arrive early. 4th & 5th graders will have priority to the front of the line on their testing days.
- Tests:
- Tuesday: 4th Grade Writing and 5th Grade Math
- Wednesday: 5th Grade Reading
Empty Bowl Festival Food Drive:
Our Sommer Student Ambassadors are collecting food for the Round Rock Serving Center. This food drive is part of the Empty Bowl festival. We will be collecting food and other items through April 12th. Please check our school and class websites for more information. Drop collections into the purple bin in the main hall of school. RRISD Campus Walk for American Foundation for Suicide Prevention:
Our secondary RRISD Student Advisory Board is calling out for care and concern surrounding the mental wellness of their peers. Conversations around suicide and stress were the predominant themes. As a result, they are hosting a campus walk for suicide prevention on Saturday, April 21 at Cedar Ridge High School. Check in and activities will take place from 9-10 am with the walk beginning at 10 am. All Round Rock ISD students and families are encouraged to participate. Each Learning Community will compose a team and receive recognitions for the number of registrations (Silver, 100 participants, Gold, 250 participants and Platinum, 400 participants).
