🌟 STALLION STAR CELEBRATION: The Inflata-Run! 🌟
Our students have officially reached their goal, and the reward was nothing short of legendary! To celebrate earning enough Stallion Stars, our staff took to the field for a Fun Run like no other.

The competition was fierce (and very bouncy). Our inflatable athletes included:
The Unicorn: Pure magic on the track.
The Dinosaurs: A prehistoric powerhouse.
The Zebra: Sporting the fastest stripes in the district.
The Chameleon: We’re not sure if they won because they kept blending into the grass!
The Flamingo: Putting a whole new meaning to "running on one leg."
The Air Dancer: Bringing that chaotic, wavy energy to the finish line.
The Bunny: Giving "Fast and Furry-ous" a whole new meaning
The Shark: Managed to race alongside the flamingo without a single "shark attack." Now that’s what we call being respectful!

📖Librarian's Day is next Saturday, April 4th, but we will celebrate our ROCKSTAR librarian & librarian assistant on Thursday, April 2nd.📣The library is the heartbeat of a school, and we want to show these amazing ladies how much we appreciate them!! We know they would love kind words and cards from your kiddos.

Our Sommer Battle of the Bluebonnets team did an amazing job on Tuesday, competing against all the elementary schools in the district! They earned a spot in 2nd place by only missing 1 question. So impressive! We are proud of you!

We had a very special (and very scholarly) visitor at Sommer Elementary this morning! The legendary "Bookworm" visited our library to share the magic of reading with our students.
Today’s visit we focused on:
✅ Reading for fun
✅ Taking care of our books
✅ Visiting the public library
✅ Getting that all-important library card! 💳

Our library was buzzing this morning as 3rd, 4th, and 5th-grade students gathered for a special Bluebonnet Breakfast. This delicious celebration was a hard-earned reward for students who read at least 10 of the 20 Bluebonnet Award nominees this year.

Congratulations to all the students who rose to the challenge and turned so many pages! We are so proud of your dedication to reading.
