Teachers and students celebrated the end of their Greek Mythology Unit on October 21. by dressing up and enjoying a feast of grapes, grape juice, olives, hummus, pita chips, and pomegranate.

Today was "Book Character" Day! Students and staff dressed up as a book character. These staff members based their character costumes on the books by Laura Numeroff. Although there is one different costume....can you find Waldo?

Round Rock High School Boy's Basketball is hosting an event this Saturday! Come meet the players and have a chance to practice your basketball skills!

Happy Diwali to all who celebrate! We are so lucky to have parents who enjoy sharing their holidays and traditions with us. Staff members were treated to a delicious Diwali lunch last Thursday. But that's not all! Staff had a chance to dress up, get a beautiful Henna tattoo, and receive a gift. Thank you to all the parents who contributed to this amazing luncheon!

The Book Fair is still happening! The Book Fair is open Wednesday and Thursday from 8:00-3:30pm. The final time to buy books is Friday at noon.

Chefs, get your mixing bowls ready! Snack Wars is back and there is about a month until competition!

Don't forget that Friday, October 10th is Picture Day.

Our wonderful custodians were showed with appreciation posters, cards, and gifts last week.

Our Fall Fundraiser is in full swing! Right now, we are at "Fastest Out of the Gate"! Classroom prizes and teacher prizes can be won! Today's the last day for this challenge. The next challenge is "Beyond the Stall"! The classroom prize is a visit to the mobile petting zoo and a chance to send your teacher to Kalahari!

It's Movie Night this Friday, October 10th. All ages are welcome and it's FREE! Bring a blanket or chair to sit on.
