MultiCultural Committee:
Our annual MultiCultural event, Passport to Sommer is THIS FRIDAY 5:30 pm – 8:30 pm! Come visit all 7 continents and 16 countries will be represented! Our passport experience will be throughout the school – ASIA is upstairs, EUROPE & AFRICA are in the Library, NORTH & SOUTH AMERICA are in the gym, ANTARCTICA & AUSTRALIA are in the Kinder and 1st Grade Wings! We will also have MultiCultural performances in the cafeteria from around the world! Food trucks will be onsite with foods from Mexico, Korean, and Italian (pizza!)! Come early! Math SuperStars:
Have you been frustrated or confused about how to best track the minutes your student is doing on Khan Academy for Math SuperStars? We have a new solution that will make it easier for you. It’s time for the Stars! Once students complete 140 mins on Khan Academy they will have earned their MSS Star. Look for those to go up in the hallway beginning Tuesday.
The final reward period of the 1st semester is coming up. Your student will receive a coupon for a free ice cream cone at Baskin Robbins if they have reached 200 mins on Khan Academy by Nov 17.
Staff Appreciation:
Nov. 17th is pie day…we’ll be sending out a sign up for pies & volunteers. Every staff member will receive a pie from PTA/school in Thanksgiving of them & all they do!

- Don’t forget to sign up for Remind using your class’ unique code! This will be the only communication between class parents and Homeroom Parents regarding class parties and volunteer opportunities in your child’s classroom.
Fall Fundraiser:
Our 2017-2018 Fall Fundraiser has come to an end. Thank you for your generous support! We hit our goal and it is because of YOU! The two classes with the highest dollar amount will participate in “Silly String A Teacher” as a reward for bringing in the most money for our school. The winners will be announced on Thursday on KSTAR first, then on our PTA Website along with the totals. Thank you all! We are Stallion Strong!
